Iranian classical music George Bahram Nowparast
My 28 piano pieces and 24 piano and orchestra are mostly based on Iranian tunes, which I heard during my young age, (some of them are my own compositions) or later I did not have access to the actual scores.
Even, I don't recall some of their names, especially Azaries. I used some songs in which singers like Badizadeh, Delkash, Bahram Siyar, Vigen, Sattaar, Farokhzad, Mohammadi (all famous Iranian singers) were the singers.
My rhapsodies are also based on old Iranian songs. Symphony #1 is about our 4 great and fomous Iranian poets:Ferdowsi,Saadi,Hafez, and Khayam in 4 movements you can even sing some their poets with the music. There are 5 symphonies,5 piano concertos, a violin concerto, piano sonatas, preludes, variations for piano, orchestra works like Perspolis Fire,Iranian dance, home memories, serende for orchestra,30 best old American songs also in 3 section is presented, and many others, if you would like follow the album please.
And I sincerely appreciate your interest in my music. And in the end I should mention that I have lots of respect for traditional Iranian music, I was grown with listening to them, love all Dastgahs and their subdivisions and some of them are evident in my music if listened closely.
